Bottles, nipples, rings, and caps should be sterilized before adding formula until your baby is 5 or 6 months old by: 

  • Boiling all items in a pot of water on the stove for ten minutes and cooling 

OR 

  • Running items through dishwasher on complete or rinse cycle
